After recognizing the negative impact of the use of restrictive behavior modification techniques, Millcreek Township School District in Pennsylvania took proactive steps to change its culture and eliminate the use of restraint and seclusion in its classrooms.

During this online webinar, we heard directly two of the educators who led the way, driving district wide changes in behavior policy. Speakers from the Millcreek Township school district included:

  • Ed Nientimp, Director of Pupil Services
  • Kate Barbaro, Special Education Supervisor
